What you’ll need to succeed
We’re looking for the best. Our mission and our vision for what we want the business to stand for, means that really want to speak to you if you are either already at the top of your game or want to get there.
In this respect, we’d love you to have a HNC or degree in Transport Planning, Geography, or Mathematics but it’s not essential, as long as you have industry experience. In fact, we’ll even provide all the support you’ll need to gain a formal qualification if you don’t already have one.
You should be experienced in supporting a wider team in the analysis of transport impacts, including the identification of suitable trip generation rates using TRICS and have an understanding of different distribution and assignment techniques. We would also like you to have experience of using ARCADY and PICADY, and perhaps LINSIG. You are also likely to have some experience in basic junction design (or understanding of the basic elements of the desgin process) and have provided input to written reports.
Above all else, personality is king in our business. We want you to be a confident and self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
What you’ll get in return
Take a look around our culture page to understand the value we place on our people and how we help them to achieve their full potential with clear, structured mentoring, investment and feedback – its an approach founded on the principles of ‘partnership’.
It goes without saying that we always ensure we offer our people a competitive salary – not just to attract you to the business but also to recognise your on-going contribution and capabilities.
We also provide a great pension scheme, a discretionary twice yearly bonus , and various perks and wellbeing initiatives to ensure you are properly looked after during your time with us. Take a look at our ‘22 for You‘ scheme which we are particularly proud of.
