We are pleased to introduce you to our new sister brand – MY Mode Choice – which has been created to provide an independent platform on which we are able to provide bespoke travel planning, coordinator and implementation services.
The creation of the MY Mode Choice brand reflects our increasing provision of travel plan coordinator services that go beyond the traditional planning stage, and our desire to maximise the potential success of our involvement.
We’re already delivering travel plan coordinator services for a development of over 1,000 dwellings at Heyford Park (Bicester) and a number of Taylor Wimpey developments throughout Oxfordshire, and we have recently completed a bespoke designed behavioural change study to support a development of 1,100 dwellings on the edge of Oxford – so it feels like the right time to bring this expertise under a single brand that is unrelated to the development planning work that Calibro is known for.
As part of the brand development, a bespoke website will shortly be activated (www.mymodechoice.com) which will incorporate dedicated travel plan pages for each of the developments where we are providing coordinator services. The website will include downloadable content including the Travel Plans, monitoring reports, welcome packs and copies of the latest travel timetable information, together with chat functions to enable residents to speak with the coordinator in real time.
Whilst we pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our clients’ requirements to determine the most suitable brief, our services will typically include:-
- Designing and agreeing a suitable scope of study with the Local Highway Authority to ensure compliance with any planning obligations and objectives;
- Undertaking site surveys, including person-to-person surveys on site with specially trained staff;
- Designing bespoke promotional materials, including Welcome Packs and Travel Plan Leaflets;
- Organising and chairing Travel Plan Steering/Management Groups;
- Managing and implementing Travel Plan Events;
- Managing Travel Plan budgets and the delivery of measures;
- Liaising with key stakeholders such as local authorities and public transport operators and sales staff;
- Administrating and managing Travel Vouchers which offer incentives on bus and rail travel and cycling;
- Working with contractors and Councils to ensure Travel Plan infrastructure measures are implemented, such as secure cycle parking, bus stop infrastructure etc.
- Advise and/or prepare and host the design of bespoke webpages/websites highlighting sustainable travel options and the Travel Plan; and
- Travel Plan monitoring and reporting, including travel surveys and analysis.
